ASL Finger Spelling

When I was 14 years old that my friend Allydn Clark (Deaf guy) gave to me about learning ASL Finger Spelling card.

I learned ASL at ODS - SJW School in Belleville from one of teachers and one of students taught me ASL by their voice  also I used their lip reading because I grew up by lip reading all my life.
I had an experience for 35 years for ASL.

How I felt about ASL?

America Sign Language is good for CHALLENGE and BEAUTIFUL language. It's FUN and LEARNING also COOL.

What a AMAZING and AWESOME.

I'm fell LOVED America Sign Language.
My ASL is very IMPORTANT.

I TALK with my HANDS.  LISTEN with my EYES.

I felt good COMMUNICATION in ASL (hand to hand) instead behind someone's back. (touch)

Rehearsals/ Awards/ Clubs

Last October after Thanksgiving Day to before Victoria Day I went Bowling League at Brunswick Bowling at the East End Plaza by 2 City Bus in Belleville, Ontario by every Tuesday after school at 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

I got Bowling Award in 1981 - 1982, I got another gift by Jewelry Dish with Lid 1981 for Typing Class from teacher Katharine Mills.

I got Driver Education Certificate in June 1985 from Mr. White.

I got Elementary School Graduation Certificate at Grade 8 in June 10th, 1981. 

I felt more activities/involved at OSD - SJW School in Belleville, Ontario instead Hearing School because they are different events.

I got another Awards 1986 for Senior Home Economics from teacher Mary Lou Wood.

I was involved Fashion Show at the gym in May 3rd, 1984 at 3:30pm from teacher Donna Fano by Sewing class.

It's called Evening Wear that I wore light blue/dark blue housecoat. 

Last Christmas 1984 I made 4 Cabbage Patch Dolls are all the girls.

On left side doll name is SALLY (mine), second doll name is PAMMY ( my ex-sister-in-law), third doll name is BOBBY JEAN (my youngest sister) and last one  doll name is REBECCA (my middle sister).

Christmas Pageant

I was involved Christmas Pageants in December 1983, 1984 and 1985 by Friday evening and Saturday evening at 8pm - 10pm.  I was an Angel.

That last one in December, 1985 and I'm on left side an Angel and Heather Wynne.

Part Time for a jobs

I was lived in Bracebridge, Ontario at April 2nd, 1967 - September 2nd, 1986 for 19th years.

Last Monday September 1979 at 4pm I went on School Bus for FIRST time and I saw stranged Deaf peoples and Hearing counsellor so I was scared and fear too.  I survived without anyone.

I felt " let it go" from my family and I was so quiet all the way to Belleville also I sat by myself alone.

Thank you for picked me up from my Family on Friday and drop me off on Sunday at Hammond Station in 450 Ecclestone Drive.

Few weeks later, I was ok now so I got used and my FIRST new friend Donald Emond from Sudbury until his Graduated 1983.

 At 8pm, I was arrived in Belleville at infirmary then I walked to Senior Girl's Residence at parking lots that where my Uncle picked me up went home in Ameliasburg near Belleville for a year.

In September 1984 - June 1986 I was worked at Deaf Supervising for small School Bus for before school and after school from Day Students at ODS - SJW School in Belleville. 

Who are involved for worked part time at small School Bus are Rosemarie Poirier, Angela Theriaut and myself. 

In September 1984 - June 1986 I was worked at Deaf Supervising for part time by large School Bus for after 1pm every second Friday in North Bay, Ontario  -  Sudbury, Ontario at the back of cafeteria between parking lots.

The blue door from back of kitchen, on right side are cafeteria dining room and left side are cafeteria dining room too.

I was looking after children on the bus during travel by weekend and holiday excursions.

On Friday evening at 4pm we went stop by at Hammond Station in 450 Ecclestone Drive, Bracebridge then North Bay Bus and Sudbury Bus went separated then went home.

I was joined North Bay Bus until I was arrived at my Dad was worked at Gordon Motor Sales Muskoka Limited in Highway 118 West and went inside, I sat at my Dad's old office until he finished his worked at 5pm and went home.

1. MY COMMENTS:  On Sunday evening at 6pm we went stop by in Whitney, Ontario for our late supper at McDonald's but we did bought here in School Bus all the way to Belleville, Ontario at 8pm.

I was helped with Jennifer Nelson because she is a wheelchair and depend on if she was ordered McDonald's. I drop her off  into infirmary went though where she was lived in Junior Girl's Residence.

2. MY COMMENTS: That remind me that I was helped with Jennifer Nelson because I carried her suitcases, push her wheelchair, ordered her foods and drinks from McDonald's Restaurant in Whitney, Ontario also that remind me one of girl name Margaret White at Bracebridge Public School in Bracebridge, Ontario. She was my class in grade 6.

Both of girls are Cerebral Palsy.
