Good Friend Monique Dozios

Last Saturday May 16th, 2015 for 4 hours I was invited my friend Monique Doszios went out for dinner at Swiss Charlet Resturant by OC Transpo Bus. We are long chatted for hours and hours

This Saturday June 20th, 2015 at 12pm - 6:30pm I invited Monique Dozios and Betty Miller went to Ottawa Ribfest at Spark Street from downtown by OC Transpo Bus.

That our FIRST TIME.

I ordered Ribs and Chicken Combo for $15.

We ate it and chats plus went for walk also we saw few deaf peoples went by as well.

Last Saturday November 14th, 2015 I went on OC Transpo Bus from my home to College Station all the way to Lincoln Field Station then changed second Bus to Swiss Charlet Resturant from at Fairlawn Plaza.

I met Monique outside then went inside and waited for our sat near by the window and chatted.

I ordered my supper are salad, double chickens and baked potato plus glass of water.

We stayed there for 2 hours and went on bus again until Lincoln Fields Station and went home from fourth bus.

Last Saturday April 23rd, 2016 my two deaf friends are Monique Dozios and Betty Miller and I went to Movie Theatre from 7:30pm - 9pm.

       It's called The Jungle Book.

I took picture by the poster from outside.

We are used Closed Captions for one of each.

Closed Caption stand started last 2011 to the future.

On left side is Betty Miller, me and on right side is Monique Dozis. 

We ate our breakfast meals inside instead don't have patio outside. 

Last Saturday February 23rd, 2018 I went on OC Transpo Bus from my home to College Station all the way to Lincoln Field Station then walked to Cora Resturant, Richmond Road for 10 minutes.

I met Monique outside then went in and waited for our sat and chatted from 10am to 2:2pm because went to Metro about  groceries for her.

I ordered my breakfast are bacons, sausages instead ham, hash browns, overeasy eggs, toasts and fruits also strawberry smoothie.

MY COMMENTS: I never thought about take picture of my breakfast meal so do that next time.

After Metro at the grocery she went walked home but I went on second bus again until College Station and went home by walked.

Roast Corn #2

Last Satursday August 25th, 2019 8:30am I ordered my breakfast are 2 English Muffins, 2 hash browns and strawberry smoothie from Tim Hortons (gift card).

I left at 8:40am and went on OC Transpo Bus and the weather beautiful not too hot. 

Then I arrived at Followfield Station waited for my VIA Train left at 9:26am to 11:54am and my seat #14A, car #4 plus right side also by myself all the way.

My Aunt Evelyn picked me up and dropped me off too.

Then I went to #2 Roast Corn BBQ at Parkdale Community Centre, 119 Birch Street from 2pm to 7pm for my First Time. They attended 72 peoples. 

I ate hamburgers, green salad  and corn cobs but I bought my own drank 2 Strawberry bottles and monster.

          I bought Alice's book for $10.

I asked Donna Fano about autograph for me.

Last Saturday August 12th, 2023 lots of deaf peoples went to instead me.

They attended 155 peoples.

First Summer July 2018 in Hamilton, Ontario

Last Friday June 29th to Monday July 2nd, 2018 I went on VIA Train at Followfield Station to Toronto Union Station from 12:49pm to 5:15pm and train #47, seat 3A and car 6. Then my friend Bev Mazurski met me at the Station walked for 15 minutes and went on Go Bus to her place for FIRST TIME in Hamilton, Ontario.

I got off VIA Train then I came inside the building and I came back inside again got ready went home. 

I went upstairs and I saw schedule inside the building also I met Bev and Elmo (hearing dog) while she waited for me. 

MY COMMENTS: Last Friday June 29th, 2018 in the afternoon I was not excepted  that at Toronto VIA Train Station was used "construction" so one of VIA  man helped me with my suitcase went downstairs electric stairs instead no elevator. 

                          Go Bus

She ordered Domino Pizza for our late supper. We ate pizzas and dranks also long chatted until went bed very late.

Last Saturday June 30th we stayed inside her house because very very hot weather but she had air condition, thank god.

Also at 2pm to 7pm she bought her deaf friend Sherry Burgoyne Heimbecker was Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf in Milton, Ontario so Bev cooked BBQ for hamburgers and raw vegetables also dranks.

After her friend left and we still stayed inside again because of hot weather.

Last Sunday July 1st middle in the morning we went on Go Bus to the park at "Gate Park" and to met her Mum Pat and walked around plus we ordered our late lunch at Food Truck.

I ate hamburger and fries plus water bottle too.

Then 3 of us went on Go Bus and get off for her Mum and we still continued rode on Go Bus before 1 block got off the bus because her "hearing dog" Elmo need went to the bathroom then walked home.

We settled down and we ate popsicles and dranks.

Inside Bev's house from her computer office, at the back in living room, on left side her bedroom without the wall and the door and on right side in the front door came out from outside. 

Last Monday July 2nd, 2018 after breakfast we went on Go Bus then stopped by CHS took picture of front building at 21 Hunter Street East but hard to see because of tree but recently June 11th, 2019 at CHS already moved to 50 Dundurn Street South, Unit #119 and took picture of "Go Train" behind CHS but we didn't go on "Go Train".

Then we went on Go Bus again all the way to Toronto and walked to Union Station for 15 minutes plus I took picture of CN Tower behind me while Bev and her Elmo sat on her walker  also I saw sign "Hamilton " we were inside the bus but I didn't take picture of it so Bev did for me and send me facebook inbox.

Then we went inside Union Station waited for my VIA Train at 1:20pm and train #644, seat 9A and car 7 also went home to Fallowfield Station at 5:23pm. My daughter Isabella picked me up at the Station then went out for supper at "Popeye".

Last Sunday October 28th, 2019 my daughter Isabella and I went to saw Alexander Bell Graham from 2pm to 4:21pm at National Arts Centre, 1 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

That was my first time went in at National Arts Centre but my daughter went there while ago.

We bought tickets from Office Box about Alexander Bell Graham - ASL Interpreted Performance.

            We paid for $30. each  tickets. 

We had 14 deaf peoples and 4 hearing interpreters

First I meet her at Senior Girl's Residence from Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario at last September, 1980.

1. Are she born deaf and causes?

She was born deaf cause of  RF Factors causes by bloods between to parents.

2. When did she attended at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario?

She was attended at 1978.

3. When did she graduated?

She was graduated in June 27th, 1985.

4. Did she went to Gallaudent University or Niragra College?

5. What courses did she take?

6. Have she been involved anythings at Deaf Community?

Nope, she can't go to Deaf Community because too far for Toronto, Ontario, Oshawa, Ontario, Milton, Ontario, Niragra Falls, Ontario and London, Ontario but she wish want to go to.

7. Last March Break 1982 Bev and I went to visited at Walt Disney World for 2 weeks in Orlando, Florida also we slept in the trailer.

8. Last Summer travel 1983 I was stayed at Bev's Mum's apartment from Ajax, Ontario then Bev and I went to visited at Gallaudent University in campus for 2 weeks in Washington, DC also we slept in the car.

MY COMMENTS: Last Summer 1983 Bev, her Mum, her brother Chris and I from their apartment from Ajax, Ontario to Washington, DC for 9 hours and 40 minutes  by drove.

She and I did visited at Gallaudent University Campus but I was very disappointed and very sad that I didn't take pictures of it and I was not thinking. 

Then we did stopped by New Jersey at Souvenir Gift Shop that I bought plum shirt  in the back "New Jersey  83" but I don't have one, right now. 

We had Big Time at Gallaudent University and Souvior Gift Shop. 

9. My Mum made the blouses same as style but Bev is green and mine is blue.

10. She came over my parent's old house that she drove lawn motor belong to my Dad last June, 1984.

11. I was invtited Bev at my Wedding Day last October 10th, 1987.

12. Last July 28th - 30th, 1989 Bev and I  went to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf Reunion Buffet at Bull from Yardman Arena in Belleville, Ontario, 265 Cannifton Road.

13. I was invited Bev came over my place for Ottawa Mayfest in May 26th, 2007 but she went on VIA Train from Toronto, Ontario to Ottawa, Ontario.

14. How long have she been with her dog Elmo for hearing dog?

FIRST, She had hearing dog Elmo last June, 2010 from Lion Club Foundation Dog Guide in Oakville, Ontario. He died October7th, 2019.

                 His name is Elmo 

MY COMMENTS: I already met him at Bev's place last June 30th -  July 3rd, 2018.

SECOND, she had another hearing dog Bessie because of health issues last 2020 to 2021. 

                    Her name is Bessie 

THIRD, she had another hearing dog again last 2022.

                   Her name is Borden

FOURTH,  he had another hearing dog again last 2023.

                              

                 His name is Murphy

She took one photography course (black and white) along with her fine arts courses at University.

Why did she take photography? 

She took an Adobe Photo Shop course at Loyalist College which helped her in Ditigal/Photography.

Deaf Community in Ottawa, Ontario

Last Sunday December 9th, 2018 I went to CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST at Summerhay Grill Restaurant in 1971 Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario by walked for 12 minutes. 

 
At 10:30am I ate overeasy eggs, bacons, sausages and toasts but I bought my green lemon honey tea bag. I was lucky because no snow on sidewalk and not too cold outside by walked home.
