National Capital Association of the Deaf #1









Last November 1986 my first Christmas Party from National Association for the Deaf but we don't have picture of us plus we do have video tape and I can't find it also I did asked National Association of the Deaf. 

Last Christmas Banquet and Dance in Ottawa, Ontario by Saturday November 1986 - 2009 from ODSC NCAD (National Capital Association for the Deaf) First I went to cocktail at 4pm then went to buffet at 6pm - 8pm and dance after 8pm to 1am also chatted deaf peoples.
The last Christmas Banquet and Dance stopped by November or December 2010 since now.
After 2010 no one will not take committee for Christmas Banquet and Dance.
It's very sad.

Last October 1991, I was not excepting that I was pregnancy after November in 5 months from my First child was my son. 

The last Halloween Party stopped by October 1991 since now.
After 1991 no one will not take committee for Halloween Party in Ottawa, Ontario.
It's very sad.


Last October 31st, 2011 my children came over my place for trick and treat.  So I gave my children  some of candies.
My son Warren is Random Stuff, my daughter Isabella is Little Red Hood with the Baby and I'm Black Goth.

I never went to visitors in Milton,  London and  Metropolitan Toronto also I had it my whole life.

Summer of 1983 my best friend Bev Mazurski, her Mum, her brother and I went to Gallaudent University in Washington, DC but I don't remember went there because we had very short visitor.
I never had chance take pictures of it also so sad. I don't remember anythings.

MY COMMENTS: Last September to December 2015 they are no one in the class are empty and not made it.

MY COMMENTS: Last January to April 2016 they're not enough class are under 5 students but need more than 5 students. That was second times not made it again.

Those are for Level 201 by American Sign Language Class.

Deaf Cultures

Last June 1992 my son and I went to Charlene Le Blanc's house for our friend Carrie Downey's Bridal shower in Ottawa.
They are included are: FIRST ROW: Linda Fortus, Kim Ferguson, Charlene Le Blanc, Pamela Gow, my son, Rosemarie Poirier, Jane Quesnel, not sure who,
SECOND ROW: Juanita Miller, her daughter, Roxanne Mark, Carrie Downey and Barbara Downey

Last Christmas Party 2003 from Canadian Hearing Society in North Bay, Ontario that my children and I went to FIRST Christmas Dinner at the Restaurant.
We slept over at my friend Elaine Gillies' place in Callander, Ontario near North Bay, Ontario by Saturday night.

Last Friday August 21st at 11am - Sunday August 23rd, 2009 at 3pm FIRST TIME my children and I went to 6th Annual BBQ Pig Roast with Camping at Beavermead Park and Campground in Peterborough, Ontario.



Last Saturday December 15th, 2007 from 5pm - 1am I went to FIRST TIME Christmas Dinner and Dance from Peterborough District Deaf Association at 315 Reid St. in Peterborough, Ontario also I slept over night at my friend Kim and Chris Ferguson's place for one night.

Deaf Awareness Canada Wonderland every Saturday June 2001 - 2004 FIRST my children and I went to Canada Wonderland so we had lots of fun are lots of rides, games, eats, drinks, gift shop and lots of walking around for all day.
We did joined with deaf peoples from Ottawa, Ontario.
At 9580 Jane St, Vaughan near Toronto, Ontario and drove for 2 hours straight home in Bracebridge, Ontario.

Last June 2001, my oldest son Warren was 9 years old and my young daughter Isabella was 4 1/2 years old.

Last June 2003 , my oldest son Warren  was 11 years old  and my young daughter Isabella was 7 1/2 years old. 





Last December 31st, 2008 FIRST I went to my friend Jonathan Baxter's place for Happy New Year Eve 2009 from 7pm - 9am for potluck and slept over night just one night in Ottawa, Ontario.
We shared our foods from potluck, bring our own drinks and long night chatted too.
I had lots of fun.

MY COMMENTS:  I never knew that Mary LeBlanc, Gwen Lewis, Arnold Lewis, Susan McKinley and Henry McKinley at Cornfest 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015 until I found out flyer about Cornfest 2010, that how I know. 


Last Saturday September 11th, 2010 FIRST TIME I went to Cornfest at Britannia Park from Ottawa Deaf Golden Age Club by 9am - 4pm in Ottawa, Ontario.

They had BBQ hamburgers, hot dogs, corncob, cakes, chips, bottle of waters also had games, 50/50 raffle draws, gift bags, gift certificates and money by cash. 

They cooked at BBQ for hamburger beefs and wieners.

        The Deaf peoples totals are: 106.

The Deaf peoples totals are: 113 also last year of 2013 was totals are: 98.


No one will not take committee because no longer Cornfest since Saturdsy September 2018. It's very sad.

Last Friday November 22nd, 2013 I went to Algonquin College at T102 from 6pm - 9:30pm. It's about Deaf Interpreter in Ottawa, Ontario.

It's Hosts are: Bijaya Shrestha and Waynw Nichalsonals also came from Toronto, Ontario.





This October 24th, 2014 I went RA Centre at 2451 Riverside Drive in Ottawa, Ontario from 7pm to 9pm.
It's about Linguistic Rights to Professional Interpreters and The Preservation of Signed Languages in Canada.
