I met her at my Wedding Day 1987 but she bought her friend Eleanor McPeake.

She born proundly deaf and causes no idea. 

2. When did she attended at hearing School or Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf?

She went to Centennial Public School in September 1923 to June 1932 as I am assumed.
She went to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in September 1932 to June 1950.

3. When did she graduated?

She was graduated 1950 as I am assumed. 

4. When did she graduated at University or College?

5. What courses did she take?

6. Have she been involved anythings at Deaf Community?

In 1976 she became the second woman to be elected President of the Toronto based Ontario Association for the Deaf for 5 years. 

In 1986 she was Vice President of the Ontario Association of the Centre for the Deaf. 

In 1990's she was involved with the Evangelical Church for the Deaf in Toronto, Ontario and led it's Sign Language Choir.

She was volunteered work every Summer at the Ontario Camp of the Deaf in Parry Sound, Ontario. 
She was volunteered at various times with the Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf in Toronto,  Ontario and the Ottawa based Canadian Association of the Deaf. 

MY COMMENTS: Dorothy came over my Wedding Day 1987 but I did visited her funeral at Cedarview Alliance Church at 3pm in Cedarview Road, Ottawa, Ontario last Saturday May 2nd, 2015 from OC Bus by myself. 
Inside at the church on the left side close the front I sat with Joyce (Virtus) Lang and Monique Dozois but I saw James and his parent sat on the right side far back. 
After funeral service we ate snacks and dranks then I had ride with Ruth and Jonathan Baxter took me home.

I met my biological parent when I was born in Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital then they bought me home from Meadowfield Road, Langley, England at Fish and Chip above their apartment.


My late dog Ricky and I lived at backyard when I was 2 years old.

I am born hard of hearing and cause is unknown.

2. Did I learning from British Sign Language?

Nope, I did not learning British Sign Language when I was a baby until 2 years old and my parent never thought about it but they did not learning BSL, either.

3. Did I learning from America Sign Language?

Nope, when I was moved to Canada when I was 28 months old (2 and half years old) then I was visited audiolgy at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario when I was 3 years old because I was used one hearing aid body.


4. How am I learning America Sign Language #1?

One of my late deaf friend Alydan Clark gave me finger spelling card when I was 14 years old.

5. How am I learning America Sign Language number #2?

I was learned America Sign Langauge from the deaf and hard of hearing students and the teachers by lipreading at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario.

He was born deaf from birth but cause was accident when he was 6 months old, there was a fire and he was in the carriage it was pushed down the stairs to save him and damaged his hearing.

2. When did he attended at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf?
He was attended in September 1943 for 13 years. 

3. When did he graduated?
He did graduated in June 1956.




4. Did he went to Galluedet University?
Nope, he didn't went to Galluedet University. 

5. How long have he been involved counsellor at Senior Boy's Residence?
He had been involved counsellor at Senior Boy's Residence last 1984.

6. When did he retired?
He was retired last 2001.

It's Small World

My ex - parent - in - law used be lived in apartment at Bayshore Drive last May 1962 - 1963 for 1 year.

My ex - parent - in - law, my ex -brother -in - law and my children's Dad was lived in Iris Street last July 1965 - June 1974 for 8 years. 

MY COMMENTS: I never knew that my ex - parent  - in - law lived in Iris Street because my son Warren told me while ago but I figured out the date and years. 

We used be lived in apartment at Elterwater Avenue last October 1987 - July 1991 for 4 years and 9 months.

My children, their Dad and I was lived in Iris Street last July 1991 - October 1999 for 8 years. 

My son and my daughter - in - law used be lived in apartment at Navaho Drive last June 2013 - January 2015 for 2 years and 7 months. 

My son and my daughter  - in - law was lived in Iris Street last April 2018 - August 2019 for 1 year and 4 months. 

         We was lived in semi - houses.

I met him last Fall 1982 at grade 10 from Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario. 

1. Are he born deaf and causes?
When he was 3 years old and he fell off the screen from the window. 

2. When did he attended at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf?
He was attended in last Fall 1972.

3. When did he graduated?
Nope, he did dropped out at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf because he did worked at the roofing last 1985. But he didn't graduate last June 1986.

4. When did he graduated at University or College?
Nope, he didn't graduate at University or College. 

5. What courses did he take?
He took Transport Training Centre of Canada for one month at the course in Ottawa, Ontario. 

6. When did he started driver big truck?
When he was started last 2004.

7. How long have he been drive big truck?
He been driving for 17 years. 

8. Where did he travelled around the world by big truck?
He travelled in Belleville, Ontario, Ottawa, Ontario,  Brockville,  Ontario,  Montreal, Quebec,  Alberta, Edmonton and Cornwallis, Nova Scotia. 

9. What name of his company that he drove big truck?
He had been last first company was Wills Transfer Limit last 2004 to 2020.
Then second company now Krista Holdings Limit since 2020 to the future.

Nope, because he been driving big truck.

Nope,  he didn't involved anythings at Deaf Community.

British Toddler (Who am I for Investigating?)

I was lived in England after I moved to Canada in Toronto, Ontario. 

Last April 2nd, 1967, my parent and I moved to Canada in Toronto, Ontario at Airport Station and arrived at the ground when I was 2 years old from Meadfield Road, Langley, England that where we lived in Fish and Chip Shop above apartment but I had no hearing aid before 2 years old.

1. When I got my FIRST hearing aid body and my FIRST hearing aid behind my ear?

When I was ten months old and my parent were still in England I had my hearing tested and they said it was fine, but had my tested every six months after that, still in England.

2. Last tested in England was just before we came to Canada last April 2nd, 1967.

We had my hearing tested by Doctor Goodwin in Gravenhurst, Ontario before middle of April, 1967.

3. When I was 2 years old with my Mum also her pregnancy was a month from my youngest sister Sandra after born in Bracebridge, Ontario.

The Doctor sent my parent and I went to my FIRST SICK CHILDREN HOSPITAL in Toronto, Ontario before I was 3 years old in the Summer 1967 since 14 years old.
I had another hearing aid body before I had my hearing aid behind my ear since 14 years old to the future but my Mum do not remember what year that was.

I had hearing aid and behind my ear when I was 14 years old in Bracebridge, Ontario and to the future.
When I was 2 and half years old my FIRST started wore hearing aid body and since 14 years old.

What happened when I was born to 2 years old without hearing aid body?

I had my FIRST  hearing aid body when I was were 2 and half years old from born to 2 and half years old that I had NO HEARING AID because the Doctor Kept telling them I were NOT DEAF.

MY COMMENTS: I should have immediately about learning sign language when I was 3 years old in the Summer 1967 also my parent should have too from my late friend Alldyn Clark.

Last September 1970 I should live in Junior Girl's Residence for a year then should transfer to my Aunt and Uncle live there until early 1980 also they should learning sign language then in late 1980 transfer Senior Girl's Residence until my graduated.

I felt that I do not belong Bracebridge Public School in Bracebridge, Ontario because I can vision all the students are the hearing peoples instead hard of hearing/deaf and sign language as well but I had temporary for special class 2 years

My Life Hearing Aid

When I was 3 years old and 12 years old I had my hearing aid body that my Mum had to sew the pocket on left or right side each shirts, blouses, dresses and sweaters for 10 years.
She did it all the works for me and thank you. 

                   Both are 3 years old 

               Both are 12 years old 

Until when I was 13 years old changed to behind my left ear from hearing aid.



Then last February, 2019 went to hearing test at Costco and I became hearing loss to now and the future as well.

She born deaf and causes of rubella. 

2. When did she attended at?

In 1969 when she moved to Belleville, Ontario from Manitoba, Winnipeg  also hearing school in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. 

3. When did she graduated?

4. When did she graduated Galluedet University?

She graduated in 1984 with Bachelor of Arts degree. She took a year off and when back to Galluedet University her Master's degree in 1987.

5. What courses did she take?

She took courses are studied Elementary Education and Human Resource for her Bachelor of Arts and Rehabilitation Counselling.

6. How old she start tennis?

When she was 12 years old.

When she was retired completely 35 years old  but she still playing tennis.

Since 2005 for 16 years also been tennis coach at Galluedet University for 2 years. 

10. Did she take coach courses?

Yes, she did took studied and received level three in National Coaching Certificate program since 2005 at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. 

11. What her goal?

Her goal going to be next Deaflympic will be in Brazil next May 2022.

12. The reason why she take courses?

The reason: Canadian Deaf Sport Association required her to have level 2 National Coaching Certificate program but she kept going and reached level 3.

Last Saturday May 20th, 2025 I went to Ottawa Deaf Expo and I saw Lois' booth about the flyer for Olympic for the Deaf so I  took it from Facebook post

Deaf Olympic For Running # 2

I met him in Ottawa, Ontario at Christmas Party 1986.

1. Are he born deaf and causes?

2. When did he attended Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf?

He was attended 1960.

3. When did he graduated Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf?

He was graduated 1974.

4. When did he graduated Galluedet University?

Nope, because of continued his athletic career and job at Canada Post.

5. When did he went to Deaf Olympic?

The World Summer Games for the Deaf in 1973 in Malmo, Sweden, 400 - metre  800 - metre and 4 x 100 - metre for 12th place. 

Last November 1974 in Ottawa, Ontario at hearing track and field club. He trained under Bill Arnold,  a hearing Canadian National Coach for 15 years (1974 - 1989).

Summer 1975 he travelled to Maracibo, Venezuela to complete with the Canadian team at the Pan American Games for the Deaf and won in the following events, 800 - metre (gold), 1500 - metre (silver) and 400 - metre (bronze).

His next challenge  was at the 13th World Summer Games for the Deaf in Bucharest, Romania  in Summer 1977. He broke a new world record (1:52,7) He missed winning a bronze in the 800 - metre event by 1/100 of a second and came in sixth 3:59.2) in the 1500 - metre category. 

The media later awarded him in 1977 act from Sport Canada for his outstanding performance in Romania. 

He went through three months of rigorous training before the 14th World Summer Games for the Deaf in Cologne  West Germany in Summer 1981. His hard work paid off when he won a silver medal in the 1500 - metre race (3.56.7). He was just a few 100th of a second behind gold  - medal - winner Tim Karvonen of Finland. He came in fifth (1:55,72) in the 800 - metre race.

In 1982 he was presented with the Ernest A. Marwick by the Canadian Deaf Sports Association in recognition of his outstanding performance in track and field. 

Los Angeles, California was the site for the 15th World Summer Games for the Deaf in 1985. His long - held dream of winning a gold medal was realized in the 1500 - metre race (3:53,41). For the second time  he was honored with the 1986 Act Award by Sport Canada in recognition of his outstanding track and field performance. 

At the 16th World Summer Games for the Deaf in Chrischurch,  New Zealand in 1989, he competed only in the 5000 - metre race,  winning a bronze medal with a time of 15:09.52. Other examples of his track and field (non-deaf) competitions include the 1982 Ontario Cross Country Championships(12 - km) in Sudbury, Ontario (eighth place, 40:27); the 1983 Mitel 10 - km Road Race in Kanata, Ontario (fourth place ina field  of 600, 30:43); the 1984 Montreal, Quebec Track and Field Championships (third place  inthe1500 - metre race, 3:50.33); the 1985 All Comers Track and Field Meet in Ottawa, Ontario (personal best in the 5000 - metre race,  14:41.87); and the 1986 High Performance Track and Field  Meet in Montreal, Quebec (third place  in 1500 - metre race, 3:50.4).

The Park on Uplands/Paul Anka was named in Paul's honour due to his athletic excellence and bring a postive role model in the Ottawa Deaf Community, like President of Ottawa Deaf Community and etc.

Cerebral Palsy Of Awareness Day

She was my class with mainstream in grade 6 from my old teacher Gary Denniss at Bracebridge Public School in Bracebridge, Ontario in September 1977 - June 1978.
She is hearing and Cerebral Palsy also used walker.

MY COMMENTS: I never thought about that I helped with the girls with Cerebral Palsy and for small jobs.

I met her at School Bus from September 1980 - June 1986 in Sudbury, Ontario and North Bay, Ontario. 

1. Are she born deaf and causes?
When her Mum pregnant has "Toxcemia" and earlier born the Doctor through E - Section. She was almost died and put high oxygen baby bed that how causes Deaf and Cerebral Palsy.

2. Before or after when she born from Cerebral Palsy?

3. When did she attended at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario?
She was attended in September 1980.

She was graduated in June 10th, 1993.

5. Have she been involved anythings at Deaf Community?
When she was 12 and 13 years old at Ontario Deaf Camp  in Summer 1988 and 1989.
They allowed her first person as she supposed went disability Camp in Parry Sound, Ontario with hearing peoples, they don't have Sign Language, they near to Deaf Camp,  that why she choice Deaf Camp.

MY COMMENTS: I was counsellor last September 1984 - June 1986 that I was helped her for her suitcases, pushed her wheelchair and ordered her foods and drank from Mc Donald's Restaurant in Whitby, Ontario every two weeks by Sunday night at school bus to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario.

I met her at Algonquin College at Main Street in Ottawa, Ontario last January 1987 - June 1987 for 6 months about upgrade program.

She was born blind and causes from Usher Syndrome. 

3. What did she attended at French High School ?

She was attended 1988 at French High School in Sudbury, Ontario. 

4. When did she graduated at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario?

She graduated 1993.

5. What courses did she take?

She took Graphic Design and Production for 2 years in 1991 to 1993.

6. How old did she learning Tietile?

She will learn, very soon.

Kurt The Irish Chef

How I meet him?
I never met him but went through Facebook chat from June, 2008 also one day I will meet him.

1. Are he born deaf and causes?
He second generation deaf from deaf parents along with his two deaf sisters and his third generation deaf children. 

2. When did he attended at?
He grew up in mainstream from kindergarten to grade 6 then enrolled California School for the Deaf, Riverside, California. 

3. When did he graduated?
He graduated in June, 1989 at California School for the Deaf. 

4. When did he graduated at Galluedet University or College?
Nope, he attended there for 2 years. 
Nope, major interesting for him there moved back to Southern California  attended  Southern California University Northridge (CSUN) for one semester then tranfer to Pierce Community College for 4 years.  Never finish college as he found his passion in the professional kitchen. 

5. What courses did he take?
He took Liberal Arts in Galluedet University (try to be major in Marine Biology but no field there). He couldn't find a right  major at Pierce Community College as he took many different classes to fit his interesting and none for him. 

6. Where did he learning from chef?
He learned himself by self- taught. 

7. How long have he been chef from cooking?
He started off as odd jobs as in dishwasher during his Pierce Community.  College to earn his living. (He have also have had several add jobs at once). He was falling in love with professional kitchen because of the adrenaling heats, close confinement, and fire. He want to be chef so, his first chef trained him with his knife skills and prepping the recipes,  line cook, temperatures of varieties ingredients.  He end up moved up to be a Sous Chef within 6 months.  Abandoned College life and worked his way around several restaurants for 7 years  before became chef. He have been in professional kitchen for 28 years and 21 years as chef.  He have held many different positions in 21 different kitchens in 6 states.

8. What kind of award are he?
He had Employee Of The Year Award  was from Basil's kitchen at Embassy Suite by Hilton Hotel at Tukwila, Washington where he was honored for best worker in kitchen as Chef de Tournade.
He was in Chopped under Food Network TV way back 2013. He was chopped after entree round.  Also, was voted Hottest Chef In America  in 2012 by social media  voters under Eater.com.
Deaf person of the year under Deaf Life Magazine (also, deaf person of the month twice as well). Wrote a cookbook as well, titled You Don't Ears To Cook.
He involved with many Deaf Community and many Deaf School to give his live cooking show. 
There is too many accommodations of his 28 years of Chef Journey. 
He can't remember them all.

Summer Vacation 2007

Last July 19th to 27th, 2007 our FIRST travel to Northern Ontario

Last Friday July 19th, 2007 after work we drove for 5 hours and 45 minutes from Renfrew, Ontario to Spragge, Ontario.

That where my children and I slept at camping in Spragge, Ontario from KOA by the tent for one night. 


                               And


We left all the way to Sudbury, Ontario for 3 hours and 31 minutes.


Last Saturday July 20th, in the morning we visited at Nickel Museum for 1 hour and 9 minutes at 122 Big Nickel Road from Sudbury, Ontario. 

Then in the afternoon we went swimming pool at KOA Camping before supper.

                                 And


             We bought navy shirts.

Last Sunday July 21st  to 26th, we drove to Sault Ste Marie, Ontario from KOA Camping for 4 hours and 25 minutes and we stayed at my deaf friend Cheryl and Henry Maidra at Case Road. Our camping tent at their backyard.

We did visited in Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Museum at 50 Pim Street, look at view about across the bridge from Sault Ste, Marie, Michigan, (America) and short visited in Canadian Hearing Society at 130 Queen Street E. and out for Restaurant.

Last  Friday July 27th, in the morning we left from our friend's house then we drove for 7 hours and 8 minutes and we got home by safety and sound.
