I can go to Deaf Events in Ottawa, Ontario and Belleville, Ontario that only way instead Toronto, Ontario, Oshawa, Ontario, Parry Sound, Ontario, London, Ontario, Niagara Fall, Ontario, Barrie, Ontario, Windsor, Ontario and Milton, Ontario because I knew about "complicated" about deaf people's don't want give me a ride and share a room as well plus too far.

That was very sad.....

Only Way, I can travel in Ottawa, Ontario and Belleville, Ontario instead another cities.

 One Day, I hope will find a way get a ride and share a room if I am so lucky.

- Ottawa, Ontario: I ordered Ultratch TTY with Answer Machine, Roll Papers in 1997, Hearing Aid Batteries, I went to Hearing Test in 1997 also repaired my Hearing Aid, I ordered new Ear Mold in 2011.

- Barrie: I ordered Ultratch TTY in 2000.

- Bracebridge, Ontario: I bought Hearing Aid Batteries in 2000, repaired my Hearing Aid and ordered new Ear Mold in 2004.

- Belleville, Ontario: Hearing Aid Batteries, ordered new Ear Mold and Ear Plug for swimming in 1979 - 1986.

MY COMMENTS: That remind me that they had Indigenous Post sine last I saw it was October 7th, 2018 but it was gone at the front building. 

ONE of my favorite memories when I was 3 years old and wore hearing aid body and when I was little girl at Santa Village in Bracebridge, Ontario.

The Second of my favorite memories when I was 11 years old that I had special classroom in Bracebridge Public School.

The Third of my favorite memories when I was 12 years old that photo from Bracebridge Public School.

I loved wore my hearing aid since I was child to now because I loved to hear the sound, noisy, bang and even my children's voice plus myself as well.
I always made sure my battery work the sound from my hearing aid and say the word "BBB" but I always do that all the times just for test if work.

I can felt vibrations up through the floor under my feet and up through my body as I moved to the beat.

I can hear the bound but not the words without lip reading.

The most important of my

life, that one that I will forever be grateful for.

My FIRST Family Photo

Last April 2nd, 1966 my parent and I was moved to Canada from Toronto Airport that time I don't have hearing aid when I was 16 months old (1 and half years old) until I got my FIRST new hearing aid body when I was 19 - 20 months old ( 2-2 and half years old) to 14 years old. 

I had one of left ear but I had absolutely complete no hearing in one of right ear.

I grew up as a Hard of Hearing child of my hearing parent.

My SECOND new hearing aid behind my ear when I was 14 and half years old to now.

I asked so many questions about anything that popped into my

mind alway talking, alway asking questions.

Question:  How you found Alldyn Clark for "Family Photo" when I was little girl?

Question: Why not Alldyn Clark can teach ASL in whole family since I was child?

Answer:

MY COMMENTS:  I never knew that my Mum was planned learned Sign Language  from Allydn Clark before because she never told me before until I found out from my interviews. 

Question: Why am I been Hard of Hearing because of Measles or Chicken Pox or another reasons?

Answer:  unknown 

Question: Anyone in the family have been Deaf or Hard of Hearing from childhood?

Answer: Nope

Question: How you find at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario?

Answer:

Question: Why not take me to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf first place from Kindergarten to Grade 6 but I did made it until grade 12 instead Bracebridge Public School?

Answer:

I wish learning American Sign Language  when I was toddler to five years old because my Aunt and Uncle lived in Belleville, Ontario after their wedding plus my parent should learning American Sign Language class at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf.

Plus I wish my Aunt, Uncle and cousins learning Sign Language.  When I came visited in Belleville, Ontario for Deaf Community. 

Question: I asked my Aunt/Uncle after they got married then lived in Belleville, Ontario but how she find Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf when I was five? 

Answer: My Aunt did not find out about Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf that was just my parent.

Question: Did she tell my parent about Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf ?

Answer: They did not move here until 1971, it was after that when I came and stayed with them, she think about 1979 approx.

Question: How come she did not learn Sign Language when I was little girl and lived with them last 1979?

Answer: Not sure, except they did not see me very often and she was very busy with her family and her husband's business.

Question:  How they find new School at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf?

Answer: It was suggest to my parent it would be best for Pamela attend the school. Because my Aunt/Uncle lived not far away they asked if I could stay with them for at least my First Year attending the school.  They're building the Second House at the time so they all stayed in the small trailer from my parent had.  I're picked up by school bus which took me to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf each day.

Every second weekends I went home to Bracebridge and then on Sunday Evening they pick me up to come back here.  The next year in 1980 by the Fall I stayed at Senior Girl's Residence.

Question: How they feel that I was moved lived with them for a year (1979 - 1980)?

Answer: They didn't mind I stayed with them. They gave me some little jobs to do like setting table and sometimes putting dishes in dishwasher, I took turns with my oldest Cousin Angela with some of jobs, as she was not very old then.  My youngest Cousins Brian and Kevin were quite small.

I remember that!!!!

I was shared a room with my oldest cousin Angela at her bedroom for a year.

Yes, I did washdishes and set the table for their house.

 I remember my favorite rocker chair from my Uncle's rocker chair after school and in the evening.

 I remember with their old neighbour's sons Steve, Randy and Paul also their cousin Shannon for Halloween night by trick or treat but I don't remember what am I wore Halloween costume  to be.

Answer:  He did not learn ASL and my Mum learned ASL because my ex-husband  was not good at lip reading like me.

My Comments: I sad that my Dad refused learn ASL because let my Mum  doing for it plus my ex-husband James can not lip reading. 

Also he can not communicate with me by ASL and used voice since I was a child to now plus in the future.

Answer : My parent heard about Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf from travelling teacher for the Deaf who (Phyliss MacCallum) came to visit them every two months to see how I were doing.  She told them about Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf. 

Questions: Why not take me to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf first place from kindgerten to grade 7 but I did made it until grade 12 instead Bracebridge Public School in Bracebridge, Ontario. 

Answer: My parent did not send me to Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf for kindergarten and up because they thought it best for me be with family and when I was young go to Bracebridge Public School. 

When I got to grade seven it was harder for me so then my parent it best for me to learn High School in deaf school. 

My Comments: She need more learn, improve and skill for education.

Question: I asked my youngest sister Linda question about why she want learned ASL and another reasons?

Answer: She learned ASL because her oldest sister Pamela learn it. So she can talk to me better.  She learn with me waiting for the Bus at Hammond Station,  at our parent's home most in Summer time in Bracebridge, Ontario and better when she live with me for a year one year (1989 - 1990) in Ottawa, Ontario. 

Question: Why you want to be teacher for the Deaf?

Answer: She thought she want to be a teacher and she interested in signing language too. However, in Ontario only two places for teacher of School for the Deaf in Belleville, Ontario (Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf ) Milton, Ontario (E. C. Drury School for the Deaf ).  She thought she don't want to live and in only those places. 

Question: When did you graduated at York University?

Answer:  She graduated in June 1994.

Question: What location are you take to teach class?

Answer: She did not become a teacher because she finished Bachelor of Arts but she need also Bachelor of Education to be a teacher.  She finished Bachelor of Arts  but before she started Bachelor of Education she met a wonderful man,  married him and then she change her plan to be teacher. 

Question: Why you didn't take an apply for a job at school?  

Answer: She not really take classes to learn sign language.  Only at our parent's house with me or with that man who was teacher at Bracebridge Public School  (she forget his name ). She and the man use sign language dictionary and video tapes he had.

My Comments: I am proud of her that she interested learn ASL .

 I can not inspired for her because she do not want become a teacher for the Deaf but I am disappointed. 

If she live in Belleville or Milton for a jobs because I ALWAYS  went to Sir James Whitney for the Deaf, Belleville for Deaf Events but I NEVER went to E. C. Erury School for the Deaf, Milton rest of my life but one day I will go see it.

I NEVER KNEW  that she and the man bought ASL Dictionary and Video that he had.

Angela Malcolm  ( My First Oldest Cousin)

I taught her when she was 6 years old last Fall 1979.

Answer: Mostly it was interesting to her.  It was nice to be able to learn because I're around them and she enjoyed being the opportunity to learn it.

First British Sign Language finger spelling when he was 10 years old.

Question: I asked my Aunt Joyce question about why Jason want to learned BSL and another reasons?

Answer:  He learned BSL from Level 1 because he went to theater group for able and disabled young people until he was 18 years old last Summer 2012. There were hard of hearing and deaf people there and he want to be able to communicate with them.

Stephanie Emily Anne Prest-Gow ( My Oldest Daughter-In-Law)

First ASL book that my son Warren bought from Chapter store when she was 20 years old for what up gift then she was joined ASL class Level 1 at Algonquin College at 1385 Woodroffe Ave. when she was 22 years old last Spring 2014 by Deaf Teacher and my old friend Les Sicoli. (By 8 weeks for 3 hours and twice a week)

Answer:  He started learning ASL from his friend while he was dating her sister, and now he learning it with her because he work together with her doing jujitsu with a deaf and blind child and the word no .

Most ASL at Sir James Whitney School and any involved taught Salvation Army Church at my parent's house last Summer 1985 for ASL Class when I was 20 years old but I was learned ASL and watched deaf and hard of hearing peoples and hearing teachers by lipreading when I was 15 years old.

Question: I asked myself question about why I want to learned ASL and another reasons?

Answer: I want learning more skill about ASL, better improve and education  plus with beautiful language.

I want to help with hard of hearing and deaf people's same idea DI (Deaf Interpreter)

Also I want join learn about ASL Class for Levels 201, 202, 203, 301 and 302 at Algonquin College, 1385 Woodroffe Ave in Ottawa, Ontario next May 2016 - 2017 because  no one will not sign up this September 2015 and January 2016 because too full class for level 201. 

I am very disappointed !!!!

One Year Anniversary for pameladeafstories

Why I started pameladeafstories?

Because I felt inspired from my old teacher Gary Denniss from Bracebridge Public School that he wrote about his "The Educational Heritage of Muskoka" book from his eight book also I bought his book at Monck Public School last December 20th, 2001 in Braccebridge, Ontario so I learned about my pameladeafstories.

I asked him, I would like have his autograph inside his book so he did.

I'm very proud of him selling his books and was fantastic.

Electronics Recycle from CHS in Ottawa

Last Saturday September 26th, 2015 my son Warren, my daughter in law Stephanie and I went to 2197 Riverside Drive in Ottawa, Ontario for electronic recycle  and I bought some of it into recycle.

But my daughter Isabella can't joined with us because of work.

At the CHS for electronic recycle and collected 20,730kg of electronics raising a total of $1,065!

Sex and Drugs ASL Workshop

This Saturday October 3rd, 2015 at Algonquin Collage by  1385 Woodroffe Ave.in Ottawa, Ontario from 9am - 5pm.

Never knew about it because those are used for: 

         -The Doctor

   - Police

               - the Counsellor

                              - the Hospital and Clinic

            - Phyciatrict

               - Class Room

               - Metal Health

                  - Social Worker

                  - An Interpreter 

                    - Deaf Interpreter 

I never had a drugs in my life but I had new experience about the drugs.

The Doctor prescribe medical MARIJUMA to treat:

- Muscle Spasm by multiple sclerosis

- Seizure Disorder 

- Pain relief

How is it used?

- Smoked

-Vaporized 

- Eaten

- Take as liquid extract 

- Croho's Disease (from Milk Produce)
